Île d'Orléans
Landscape and terroir
Île d'Orléans — The "cradle of the Francophonie in America": an island 34 kilometres opposite Quebec City, six parish villages, farms and orchards in tight rows, and the river all around. It is made by car or by bike, from the point of Argentenay to the artisan workshops of Sainte-Pétronille, with the view on Quebec on one side and on the Montmorency Falls on the other.
