Toronto — The former Gooderham & Worts distillery, founded in 1832, became a completely pedestrian area: paved alleys, Victorian red brick buildings, art galleries, theatres, workshops and cafes. In winter, its holiday market turns the area into a illuminated village — one of Toronto's most popular dates.
