Ottawa — Founded in 1826 in Lower Town, the By Market is one of Canada's oldest public procurement markets: Ottawa and Eastern Ontario producer stalls, shops and terraces in the inner courtyards, and the famous beaver tail, born in Ottawa. The neighborhood lives day and night, just a stone's throw from Parliament Hill.
